My career started in Journalism and Public Relations, and I soon discovered that my talents lay in writing! Whilst working in Corporate Communications, Advertising and Marketing, I wrote a wide variety of company documents, reports, advertising copy, newsletters, articles and brochures. When a  friend was retrenched, she asked me to help with a CV. She received so many compliments on the CV that I realized there is a need for this service – and launched CV Makeovers. To find out exactly what the South African market wants, I conducted research and interviewed dozens of HR Officers, senior company managers and professional recruiters. I have since written more than 2000 CV’s for clients at all levels, in almost every profession.  During the past year I have been writing a book on Job Search Success, and am currently completing a degree in Information Science and Knowledge Management.
